Julissa Jackson - CARIBBEAN DANCE & STREET JAZZ
Hello my name is Julissa Jackson, Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I've had the pleasure of dancing professionally and independently for 20 years now. I've studied predominantly with Melissa Vaughn since I was 4; I am now 25. Independently I've danced all through school, from Elementary to High School's continuing on to college. I was captain of the High School Dance Team and head choreographer in College for the Dance Team and Kick Line. While at Professional Center for the Arts, Mrs. Vaughn has trained me in Modern, Jazz, African Tap and Hip-Hop. Dance has been a part of my life for many years. It is an outlet for me to express who I really am and how passionate I am about the arts. Although I am a fan of all of the arts, dance is my passion. If I could teach the world I would, but starting wit the youth has been nothing but a blessing. I look forward to a promising future as a dance instructor and changing children's lives one dance move at a time.
